For those in the London area with an interest in the world of Arthur Ransome, a date for your diary is 6.30pm on Thursday 16 November, when Peter Willis, author of our upcoming Good Little Ship, will be speaking on Ransome, his classic tale We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea, and the Nancy Blackett, Ransome’s own boat which, as the Goblin, plays a central role in the tale. The venue is the venerable chandlery Arthur Beale at 194 Shaftesbury Avenue (nearest tubes Covent Garden and Tottenham Court Road). We hope to see you there!
